• We collect information that you provide us, which includes your email address, name, etc. We also store details from third party payment websites (your Paypal email address when you paid, or your Square email address when you paid). We do not store any credit card information, nor do we have access to it through any payment systems we use.
• Most of our data is collected when you take action on our website, such as filling out our “Contact” form. We use online analytics to track site visits and details on how visitors interact with the website. Certain components we use in our web design may store "cookies" in your browser to enhance your future experience on the site.
• The purpose of our data collection is to provide you with the best possible service, and to function smoothly as an online mixing and mastering company. We use the data to help us know how best to communicate with you, how best to help with any support queries you might have, and to store information about your project’s needs in order to better serve you.
• For the purposes of the GDPR we are a “Data Controller.” Some of the data is handled under the lawful basis of 'legitimate interest' (for example: payment transactions, email and support interactions with you). Some of the data is handled under the lawful basis of consent: when you contact us on our website with your email address you consent to us storing that email, and your interactions with our website. If you ask us to delete your information, then we take that to be a withdrawal of your consent and delete that data.
• The information from our contact form is stored in our own database for reference, and is used to administrate our email newsletter list, or contact you directly regarding your project. We do not intentionally share any of your contact information with third parties except as required by law or to finish a transaction with a payment processor. We will never sell individual data.
• Any information provided by you is kept private, and is never shared with third parties, including anonymously.
• Our client communication database is encrypted, to provide the utmost in protection. Only Cphonic personnel have access to this data, and our database structure is treated with the highest regard for security, in order to protect your data. Any music file transfers are handled through 3rd-party online "cloud" storage companies, who provide full security for files.
• You have a right to see what data related to you we hold. You have the right to request amendments to the data related to you. You also have the right to have all data stored related to you under the lawful basis of consent to be deleted. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, or if you have any questions about this policy or complaints about our handling of data related to you, please Contact Us. Also, if you with to stop receiving any promotional communications (such as email newsletters), please Contact Us. Our email newsletters also include easy “unsubscribe” functions should you wish to discontinue receiving emails from us.
• We are not responsible for the content or privacy policy of any website we link to from any our website pages. Therefore, when you click a link on our site that takes you to another, our privacy policy is no longer in effect since we have no control over other sites.
• By using our website, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this Policy. Should any policies or procedures change, these changes will be posted in this Privacy Policy page.
